Are you thinking about making your own website? If you want
to sell goods online or are considering affiliate marketing, learning to make your own website is a good idea. You can
make your own website for free - that's how I started out! I have built several websites in my
online business, and I will tell you honestly up front that it takes alot of work. But the freedom you have when you

One drawback if you decide to make your own website for free is that you
don't have much control over search engine optimization. If you don't understand what this is, I will try
to explain it. When you purchase a domain, you have control over what keywords you want the search engines to crawl.
Keywords are the words someone types in when looking for a product or information on the internet. When you purchase
a website, you can optimize your site so that the search engines will have an easy time finding you. With free services,
this isn't usually an option. So, a free website will work well until you really learn what you are doing.
When you feel ready to start really building your business, I would suggest switching over to a paid service like
Register or some of the other great companies.
If you are starting out with very little money to spend like I did, you can make
your own website for free. There are several good sites where you can do this, and here are a few I have used myself
and like because they are easy to learn and use. Now, if you have never attempted making your own website before, it can
be intimidating. The first time I tried building my own website, I had no idea what I was doing. But through trial
and error, I finally figured it out. When you put information on or make changes, don't be afraid that you are going
to mess something up. Anything you do can be undone, and there is always contact information if you need help from the
company. Have fun, and experiment!

with other high ranking sites, submitting to directories and on-page optimizing, which consists of meta tag descriptions and
keywords. All this is pretty intimidating to someone just starting out! I know - I've been there. When
I first started building an online presence, I didn't even know what the words search engine optimization meant.
It's hard work! I suggest getting a good program that will boost your rankings in the search engine, which means
your site will be found much easier when someone is searching for your product. One of the best programs to achieve
